In this drawing, the young girl Tristan was running away from her father when he yelled at her for wearing yellow at her mother's funeral. She could not accept her death so she wore yellow in defiance. Soon she stumbled upon A witch shop and a thought came to her head, 

"Could I bring my mother back from the dead?" 

She enters the store on a mission to bring her mother back but is mesmerized by all the wonder and magic inside the store. She felt at ease for the first time in a long time. Pepper the store owner notices the girl and calls out to her "Are you looking for something?"

This drawing came from a comic idea I have where depression is physically real. In this world depression is a black fog monster that wraps around the brain until the host wants to kill themselves. The girl in the drawing is named Elle (Guadalupe). She is in a tunnel pondering if she should take her life or not. Around her head is the representation of her depression come to life. 

A young girl named Kareena was sitting in a tree reading in peace when suddenly she heard a small bang. She looked over to see what caused the noise and found a fairy in a suit of armor! She looks in awe " Is this real? "
