First Time doing an Art Market!
First Art Booth Marks a Special Milestone
I debuted my very first art booth at the artist market hosted at Blumen Gardens, and it was an incredibly positive and encouraging experience.
The venue was beautiful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I was surrounded by kind people and fellow creatives, and I even made my first art market sales. It felt truly special to share my work in such a supportive environment, making it a lovely place to spend the day and an unforgettable first step into vending my art.
It was hell setting everything up haha. I was not sure how to piece everything together, and most of what I learned was from other people on social media. For those curious, I bought most of my gear from Amazon!
One month Painting <3
I made this painting (On the right) Called "Conchas Conchas Conchas" in one month!
I did this in May. I wanted to challenge myself to just create something and stop procrastinating, and it worked! The painting is part of a three-piece the Second ( on the Left) painting is called "Puerquito Oreja Cuerno series I have yet to make the third. Procrastination has struck again, haha.
This painting is called “Conchas Conchas Conchas.”
Last month, I gave myself a challenge: finish a painting in just one month. I often find myself holding back, second-guessing, or waiting for the “perfect” moment — but this time, I pushed through and finished!
This piece is so special to me. It’s filled with love and sweet memories of mornings in Mexico, eating conchas with my dad and grandpa. I can still feel the warmth of those quiet moments, the comfort of family, and the joy of simple things.
This painting is my way of holding on to that feeling and sharing it with you.
I started an Etsy Shop!
Shintazans Shop Link Press me!
I started my Etsy shop in 2024, and it marked a major milestone in my journey as an artist. Learning how to use Etsy, manage listings, and understand the behind-the-scenes work of running an online shop was both challenging and exciting.
I began by making my own stickers at home, and it was difficult learning how to use the Cricut. I had a lot of trial and error, which was difficult for me because I like perfection. But after I made my first successful Fruit Bear, I continued expanding my skills and offerings. I’m learning how to create my own prints and bookmarks as I grow. Each step has been a learning experience, and I’m still evolving experimenting, improving, and finding new ways to share my art with others.
Ive even made another line of stickers Concha cats!
